In particular, it shows flights captured on the 1st of September 2022. This data was obtained from ADS-B Exchange.
Not all regions are captured equally. The accuracy and completeness of the data depends on the availability of ADS-B receivers participating and sharing their data with ADS-B Exchange. See the "Trackers coverage" layer below.

Additionally, not all aircraft broadcast the information required by ADS-B receivers. Typically many general aviation and military flights will not be tracked.
